Reflexology is a non-intrusive complementary therapy that can improve your emotional wellbeing, ease the stresses of day to day lfe and aid relaxation. It involves working with various pressure techniques using the thumbs and fingers. The principle is that reflex points all over the feet, hands,ears and face relate to different areas of the body. The science is that the pressure sends messages to the brain, that will in turn send messages to the body to encourage a healing response to the required area.
There have been references to working on the feet, hands and ears in many civilisations throughout history. Some of the earliest evidence of Reflexology dates back to 2500BC where Egyptian tomb drawings depict what looks like a modern day Reflexology session, and the fact that it was found in a Physician's tomb seems really relevant.
